Robofit Tire Changer Certified by
Michelin/Pax and Bridgestone
The FOX ROBOFIT is
a new-concept tire changer and a ground-breaking innovation
on the international scene.
The tire changer's unique feature is the exclusive robotic
Robofit tool (MF paten) which enables the user to mount and
demount any type of tire, Run Flat and Pax (with optional
kit) included, without the aid of a bead removing lever
with no extra physical effort.
The Robofit tool consists of two different heads, one for
demounting and the other for mounting, both made from
high-strength plastic to ensure the rim is never damaged,
Their special shape cuts bead stretch by up to 50% compared
to a conventional tool.
Bead breaking is dynamic (MF patent) and guarantees perfect
distribution of the force required for the operation around
the entire bead circumference, ruling out all risk of tire
wall damage.The
machine is extremely simple, intuitive and safe to use: its
ergonomic design and the single control device for total
control of all movement allow the operator to work quickly
and instinctively.

The twin levers control the dynamic bead
breaker provide simple roller positioning and simultaneous
or independent breaking of the upper and lower beads. |

The 8-movement joystick controls operation
of the robotic tool arm and is highly effective and
intuitive, giving much faster operation. The LCD version
features a camera view selector. |

The special, constantly
pressurized, air-hydraulic is able to clamp rims up to a
maximum diameter of 24", with absolutely no risk of damage.
With the aid of special adapters, supplied as standard, it
is able to clamp from the outside for reverse rim wheels.
Chuck rotation is powered by a two speed electric motor. |

The simultaneous breaking
of the tire's two beads is very fast, effective and safe for
the tire. Positing pf the bead breaker rollers between the
rim and tire is simplified by the specially shaped mirrors
or, in the LCD version, by the 5" liquid crystal built into
the machine's body in an ergonomic position. |
