Mondolfo Ferro 944 Tire Changer
 

The AS944 is a super-automatic tire changer for car, racing and van wheels from 10" t0 26" in diameter and 14" wide. Solid and sturdy, it is especially suitable for intensive use; the high quality of the components used and severe tests implemented make this machine extremely reliable and minimize maintenance cost. The AS944 is available with two rotation speeds (6.5 0 15 rpm) and tubeless tire inflation device on request. It can also be equipped with the Super4 RM device, as well as the approved kit for mounting and demounting Michelin, Pirelli, Goodyear, and Dunlop Pax System wheels.

Extra-sturdy tool arm (cross=section 2-3/8") for greater tensional rigidity when force is applied. The column has a broached head with roller for smother horizontal shaft travel and is adjustable to maintain performance over time.

The AS944 has a new-concept turntable with mechanism designed to assure high performance over time. In spite of the breadth of its working range (10" - 26"), the turntable is compact and has 2 working positions: the first from 10" to 23". the second from 13" to 26".

The optional AIRTRONIC electronic inflation device allows automatic tire inflation with presetting of the pressure of choice up to a maximum of 72 psi. The device is extremely user friendly and combines safety with inflation precision. If the pressure delivered is not sufficient to seat the tire beads, the pressure can gradually be increased in manual mode until the operation is successfully. AIRTRONIC can be installed directly on the tire changer, but is also available for wall mounting.

 

Special quick tool change (optional) allowing a very rapid alternation of the various types of tool (plastic, steel, for motorcycles and scooter wheels, etc.).

A series of optional accessories is available to work on passenger wheels up to 26" and on all types on motorcycle and scooter wheels up to 23".
